Every Umrah price you see advertised is per person, and almost every one of them assumes four people share a room. If you are a family of four, that assumption is simply true, which means the headline price is genuinely yours. It also means something most families never work out: you get better value than anybody else booking the same trip.

Our packages are seven nights, four in Makkah and three in Madinah, with round-trip airfare, the Umrah e-visa, medical insurance, the Haramain train and assisted transfers all inside the price. For four people sharing one room, this is what the whole family pays.

Those totals assume all four of you in one room, which is what most families with children want anyway. If you would rather have two rooms, you are into double occupancy and the price per person rises. Why families get the best value here
Hotel rooms in Makkah are sold by the room. A package priced per person divides that room between the people in it, so the more of you there are, the less each of you carries. It is the single largest lever in the whole price, larger than the choice of hotel.
That produces a result worth sitting with. A couple sharing a double room in our cheapest tier pays $1,990 each and stays 5-7 minutes by shuttle, or about 15 minutes' walk from the Haram. Families often reach for the lowest advertised number out of habit. If four of you are sharing anyway, the gap between our tiers is small per person and buys the thing that matters most on the ground, which is the walk. Compare the tiers at quad occupancy before deciding, not the headline against your memory of it.
What is not in the number
Being straight about this is more useful than a lower headline. Four things sit outside every package price we sell, and they are the same four for every agency, whatever their quote implies.
- Food beyond the daily breakfast. Budget realistically for four people eating out twice a day.
- Gifts, which almost every family underestimates, and which is usually the largest of these.
- Zamzam to bring home, and the extra baggage allowance it needs.
- Your own spending: a wheelchair hire, a taxi you did not plan, a pushchair you decided to buy there.

Most families we speak to afterwards say their spending beyond the package was somewhere between a few hundred and a thousand dollars, driven almost entirely by gifts. It is worth deciding that budget before you go rather than in a shop in Makkah on the last afternoon.
Children, visas and passports
Every traveller needs their own passport and their own visa, at every age, including infants. We process the visas as part of the package, so it is one conversation rather than four, but the passports have to exist before anything can start.
What a child pays depends on their age and on whether they need a bed, which is why we quote rather than publish a rule. Tell us the ages when you enquire and you will get a real number rather than a range.
Which month, and what it does to the total
Month moves the price more than most families expect, and the school calendar pushes everybody towards the two most expensive weeks of the year. If you have any flexibility at all, it is the easiest saving available.
Our December departure runs across the winter break and is our busiest family trip, priced accordingly. January is the same weather without the holiday premium. October and November are the kindest months for young children and sit well below the winter peak.
