Ramadan Umrah 2027
Ramadan is expected to begin around 8 February 2027. There are two very different trips inside that month, and we would rather ask which one you want than assume.
The first half, or the last ten nights
People treat Ramadan Umrah as one thing. It is not. Where you sit inside the month changes the crowds, the cost and the character of the trip more than any other decision you will make.
The first half
Ramadan opens here. The reward of fasting in the Haram is no different on night three than on night twenty-three, but the crowds have not built yet and rates have not reached their ceiling. If this is your first Ramadan in Makkah, this is the half to travel in.

The last ten nights and Eid
Laylat al-Qadr sits somewhere in these nights, and Eid al-Fitr follows. There is nothing else like it in the Islamic year and no point pretending it is the easy option. This is the window that sells out first, everywhere in the market.

Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin around 8 February 2027 and run roughly thirty days, which puts Eid al-Fitr in early March. The exact date depends on the moon sighting and can move by a day, so we confirm the itinerary once it is settled rather than selling you a window a sighting could invalidate.
Our 2027 rates are not set yet, and we would rather tell you that than post a number we cannot stand behind. Ramadan is the most expensive window of the year: airfare climbs, and hotels near the Haram reach their highest rates. Register your interest and you will get real dates, named hotels and a real price the moment the programme is confirmed, before it is advertised publicly.
Because demand builds through the month and peaks over the last ten nights, when a very large part of the Muslim world is trying to be in the same place at the same time. Nothing about the worship is diminished in the first half. You are simply not competing with everyone else for the same room and the same spot in the mataf.
It is possible and it needs planning rather than hoping, because the Haram fills early in that window and access is managed. Tell us at the enquiry stage that i'tikaf matters to you and we will build the stay around it instead of leaving you to solve it after you land.
As early as you can, particularly for the last ten nights. Hotels within walking distance of the Haram are committed months ahead for that window, and what is left late is what nobody else wanted. Registering interest now costs nothing and puts you at the front of the queue when the programme opens.
For most people, yes, with sensible pacing. The single biggest factor is how far you walk in the afternoon heat, which is why our Ramadan departures use hotels a couple of minutes from the Haram rather than a shuttle ride away. If anyone in your party has mobility or health needs, tell us and we will plan the days around them.
