Madinah Hotel

Pullman Zamzam Madinah

3 nights · Under 1 minute's walk

This is the package for people who want to walk to every prayer without going all the way to our top tier. Both hotels are close enough to go on foot. Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is under 2 minutes' walk from the Haram, and Pullman Zamzam Madinah is under 1 minute's walk from Masjid an-Nabawi. Nobody waits for a shuttle at either end. That changes the shape of a day. You can go up to your room after Dhuhr, rest, and come back down for Asr without checking a timetable. Families with small children who need a nap feel the benefit quickly, and so do older parents who need a break between prayers. You get four nights in Makkah and three in Madinah, with the Haramain high-speed train carrying you between the two.

From Rotana Jabal Omar into the Haram

Under 2 minutes' walk is the short version. Rotana's own FAQ fills in the route: the hotel lifts take you to a dedicated level, and escalators from there lead into the Haram. The hotel says those escalators run 24/7, which matters if you want to make Tawaf late at night. Rotana puts 655 rooms and suites across three connected towers on what it calls the third line from the Haram. It also has two prayer rooms, one for men and one for women. According to the hotel, both connect to the Haram and have a partial view of it.

Three nights at Pullman Zamzam

In Madinah, under 1 minute's walk leaves very little between the hotel door and Masjid an-Nabawi. The hotel's address is Amr Bin Al Gmoh Street. Accor says views of the city, the Green Dome and Mount Uhud can be had from many of the rooms and from the restaurants. There are four restaurants and cafés in the building. The hotel sells several room categories, from city-view rooms up to panoramic Haram-view ones, so ask the team which one your booking uses rather than counting on a view.

Premium next to Affordable and Luxury

Against Affordable, the real difference is Makkah. Affordable uses Voco Makkah, which is 5-7 minutes by shuttle, or about 15 minutes' walk, while Premium has you on foot. In Madinah the gap is narrower, because Affordable's Shaza Regency Plaza is about 3 minutes' walk. Next to Luxury the change is smaller again. Luxury's hotels are listed as facing the Haram and facing Masjid an-Nabawi, and its Makkah hotel is in the Clock Tower. Nights, the train and the rest of the inclusions don't change across the three. If walking to every prayer is the goal, Premium is the first tier that makes it easy in both cities.

Frequently asked questions

In Makkah, Rotana says accessible lifts and paths let guests reach the Haram without stairs, and it lists wheelchair-accessible rooms. For the Madinah hotel, and for any wheelchair or assistance you need inside the mosques, tell the team what's required and they'll confirm what's possible at booking.

That depends on the room category, and the package doesn't fix one. Rotana sells city-view and partial Haram-view rooms, and Pullman Zamzam has city-view and Haram-view categories. Ask the team at booking which type you're getting and whether a view room is free on your dates.

Rotana Jabal Omar and Pullman Zamzam each publish check-in from 4 PM and check-out by 12 PM. If your flight or train gets in earlier, ask the team whether an early check-in can be arranged for your dates.

Advertised prices are per person based on four people sharing a room, which the industry calls quad occupancy. On our monthly departures, triple occupancy adds $200 per person and double occupancy adds $400 per person. That is the whole rule. Tell us how many of you are travelling and who needs to be in a room together, and we'll confirm your exact per-person price rather than leaving you to work it out from a table.

Our advertised prices are built on round-trip airfare from five gateways: JFK (New York), IAD (Washington), ORD (Chicago), ATL (Atlanta) and LAX (Los Angeles). If none of those is your home airport, it is not a problem. We can arrange departures from any US city. Additional airfare may apply on some routes, and your specialist will confirm the exact cost before you book, so nothing about the price changes after you have said yes.
