Umrah from Chicago made simple
O'Hare is one of the great international gateways, and that shows up in the Umrah schedule: several carriers will carry you to Jeddah or Madinah with a single change of plane. Families out in the southwest suburbs tend to use ORD for both legs of the trip rather than splitting them between airports. If you have any flexibility on dates, use it. A midweek departure outside peak season is reliably the cheapest way out of the Midwest.
Departures
ORD & MDW
Routing
One-stop routings to Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED) via Qatar, Emirates, Turkish and Etihad, generally 15-18 hours total
Community
The southwest suburbs hold the densest concentration, but one of the oldest and largest Muslim communities in the Midwest reaches right across Chicagoland, with masajid and community organizations to match.

Umrah from Chicago: FAQs
Our 7-night flight-inclusive Umrah packages start at $1,590 per person on quad occupancy for the Affordable tier and run to $1,890 for Luxury. That covers airfare, the e-visa, medical insurance, hotels, breakfast and the Haramain high-speed train. Fixed monthly departures and Umrah + International trips are available too.
Most pilgrims from the Chicagoland area depart via ORD & MDW. One-stop routings to Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED) via Qatar, Emirates, Turkish and Etihad, generally 15-18 hours total. There is usually a trade-off between price, timing and comfort, and we book the routing that gets that balance right for you.
Every Umrah package we sell is flight-inclusive, so the airfare is never a line item that appears at the end. The price covers round-trip international flights, the Umrah e-visa, medical insurance, hotels in both Makkah and Madinah, daily buffet breakfast, the Haramain high-speed train between the two cities, assisted transfers and an Umrah guide with you throughout. Airfare is quoted from JFK, IAD, ORD, ATL and LAX. Flying from another US city is no problem, though it can add to the fare, and your specialist will tell you by how much before you commit to anything.
Advertised prices are per person based on four people sharing a room, which the industry calls quad occupancy. On our monthly departures, triple occupancy adds $200 per person and double occupancy adds $400 per person. That is the whole rule. Tell us how many of you are travelling and who needs to be in a room together, and we'll confirm your exact per-person price rather than leaving you to work it out from a table.
Our advertised prices are built on round-trip airfare from five gateways: JFK (New York), IAD (Washington), ORD (Chicago), ATL (Atlanta) and LAX (Los Angeles). If none of those is your home airport, it is not a problem. We can arrange departures from any US city. Additional airfare may apply on some routes, and your specialist will confirm the exact cost before you book, so nothing about the price changes after you have said yes.
