Umrah Packages from Milwaukee
Flight-inclusive Umrah for pilgrims from Greater Milwaukee, departing via MKE & ORD.
Umrah from Milwaukee made simple
There are two sensible ways out of southeastern Wisconsin for Umrah, and they suit different families. One is to fly from Mitchell International and connect. The other is to ride the Airport Express coach down to O'Hare, one of the five airports our fares are priced from, and fly from there. The coach adds a road leg but starts you at a priced gateway. Flying from Mitchell saves the bus ride, and any extra airfare is spelled out before you commit. After that the pattern is similar: a change of plane at a European, Turkish or Gulf hub, then Jeddah. Below are the coach stops, the late-night return and parking now the 13th Street terminal is out of service.

Routing
Milwaukee pilgrims either connect out of Mitchell (MKE) or take the coach to O'Hare, a priced gateway, then change planes at a European, Turkish or Gulf hub.
Community
The Islamic Society of Milwaukee, based at 4707 South 13th Street, lists three locations: its main center, ISM Brookfield and ISM University. Salam School, a private Islamic K-12 college preparatory school, sits alongside a Sunday school, a Quran Institute, a tajweed class for sisters and an annual summer camp. The society also offers funeral and matrimonial services, counseling and dispute resolution, health services and a food pantry. That's a lot of ground for one community organization to cover.
Getting to Makkah from Milwaukee
If you take the coach, the day starts at Mitchell or at the Intermodal Station downtown. On the timetable in effect from March 31, 2026, the first Airport Express leaves Mitchell at 4:00 a.m., stops in Racine and Kenosha, and reaches O'Hare's domestic terminals at 5:30. Terminal 5, which the timetable marks as international, comes fifteen minutes later. Pick a bus that gets you to O'Hare with plenty of time for check-in, not one that gets you there just in time, because a slow morning on I-94 isn't something you can make up. From O'Hare you fly to a European, Turkish or Gulf hub, change planes, and continue to Jeddah. Your transfer on to Makkah is part of the package. Counting the coach, allow roughly 17 to 22 hours door to gate. Connecting from Mitchell has a similar shape, with a short flight in place of the bus. Makkah is eight hours ahead of Milwaukee in summer and nine in winter, since Wisconsin changes its clocks and Saudi Arabia doesn't. Look at the coach times again a week before you go. Timetables change.
Where the coach loads now
Wisconsin Coach Lines, under the Coach USA name, runs the Airport Express. In Milwaukee it loads at Mitchell International and at the Intermodal/Amtrak Station, 433 W. St. Paul, from bay #9. At Mitchell, the timetable says outside baggage claim #1, while the airport's own page puts the coach stop outside Bag Claim Exit 2, so follow the signs on the day. Some trips also start at the Goerke's Corners Park N' Ride in Waukesha, but not all of them. The old Coach USA bus terminal on 13th Street is no longer in service.
Flying from Mitchell instead
Our fares aren't priced from Mitchell, so starting there can add to the airfare. The team works out that figure and tells you before anybody books. Sometimes it's worth paying. An elderly parent who would struggle with an hour and a half on a coach, plus bags, may be far happier checking in once, close to home, and connecting onward. A group of younger travelers may shrug at the coach. Ask for both options side by side and decide with the numbers in front of you.
Coming home late
On the return, the Airport Express picks up at O'Hare's Multi-Modal Facility rather than outside the terminal. Ride the Airport Transit System from Terminal 1, 2, 3 or 5 and follow the signs. On the current timetable the last bus back leaves O'Hare at 9:30 p.m. and reaches Mitchell at 10:50. A long flight plus customs can push you past that. If you're due in during the evening, line up a ride as a backup instead of hoping the plane is early.

Umrah from Milwaukee: questions
Chicago. The State Department lists no passport agency in Wisconsin, so the Chicago Passport Agency at 101 Ida B. Wells Drive, 9th floor, is the one to aim for. Its appointments are for urgent cases: international travel within 14 calendar days, or a foreign visa needed within 28. Bring printed proof of the trip. For a downtown appointment, Amtrak's Hiawatha is handier than the O'Hare coach. Mitchell airport says it runs between Milwaukee's Intermodal Station and Chicago's Union Station, stopping at the airport's rail station.
Not at the old 13th Street bus terminal, which is no longer in service. The Airport Express timetable now points riders to the Best Western Plus on Howell Street, which it says offers paid parking and a free shuttle to Mitchell, where you can pick up the coach. Confirm the hotel's current terms directly before leaving a car there for a week or more. The simplest answer, if you have it, is a relative willing to drop you off.
Our 7-night flight-inclusive packages run from $1,590 to $1,890 per person on quad occupancy, with airfare, the e-visa, medical insurance, both hotels and the Haramain train inside that figure.
