December 2026 Umrah Packages from the USA
8 nights in all: 4 in Makkah and 4 in Madinah. Flights, visa, insurance, 5-star hotels and the Haramain high-speed train are already in the price.
Why perform Umrah in December?
December is our flagship family trip. It runs 20-29 December 2026, across the school winter break, and it is the only departure on the calendar that carries an extra night: 8 nights in total, 4 in Makkah and 4 in Madinah. That fourth night changes the trip more than the number suggests. Instead of a scramble between the train and the airport, you get an unhurried day in the city of the Prophet ﷺ. Demand for this window is the highest of the season, and rooms are released in limited numbers.
- Fixed dates across the school winter break
- 8 nights, not 7
- The extra night falls in Madinah, so the second half of the trip is not a rush
- Cool, comfortable weather from the first day to the last
- Rotana Jabal Omar under 2 minutes from the Haram, Pullman Zamzam under 1 minute from Masjid an-Nabawi
Weather in December
The coolest month of the year. Days sit in the 70s-80s°F and are genuinely pleasant. Evenings turn cold, which catches people out every single year, so pack a warm layer for Fajr.

December 2026 Umrah: FAQs
Two reasons, and neither of them is ours. It falls in the winter school break, the highest-demand travel window of the year for US families, and airline and hotel rates across the entire industry peak in that window. On top of that, this is a longer trip: 8 nights rather than 7, with an extra night in Madinah. So you are paying for one more night of hotel, and for the dates that everybody else wants too.
It travels 20-29 December 2026. That is 8 nights: 4 in Makkah and 4 in Madinah. Every other departure on our calendar gives Madinah 3 nights, so this is the only one with a fourth. Families tend to feel the difference on the final day, when there is time for ziyarah without anyone watching the clock.
Everything except your personal spending. That covers round-trip airfare from JFK, IAD, ORD, ATL, LAX, the Umrah e-visa, medical insurance, 4 nights in Makkah at Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah and 4 nights in Madinah at Pullman Zamzam Madinah, daily buffet breakfast, the Haramain high-speed train between the two cities, assisted transfers, and an Umrah guide with you throughout.
From $2,690 per person on quad occupancy, which means four of you sharing a room. Triple occupancy is $2,890 per person and double occupancy is $3,090 per person. Prices are based on departures from JFK, IAD, ORD, ATL and LAX. Other US departure cities may incur additional airfare.

What our pilgrims say
Rated 4.6/5 from 26 reviews on Trustpilot.
“My family and I (we're a family of four) recently traveled for Ziyara in Madinah and Umrah in Makkah, and we chose Qibla Gateway. In Makkah, we stayed in a 5-star hotel with a Qibla view, and in Madinah, a hotel overlooking the Haram. What Qibla Gateway really gave us was peace of mind — instead of worrying about logistics, we were able to focus on why we came in the first place.”
“Our Umrah experience with my family was very well organized and enjoyable. Everything was arranged smoothly, from transportation to accommodation, which made the journey stress-free and comfortable for all of us. The spiritual atmosphere was unforgettable, and we truly appreciated the care and support throughout the trip.”
“Alhamdulillah, we recently returned from our Umrah journey, and it was a truly transformative and unforgettable experience. We booked our package with Qibla Gateway and overall, their arrangements were excellent. Brother Asad Khan helped us a lot and made our journey easy and comfortable. Their professional and compassionate service allowed my family and me to focus fully on worship without any stress.”
